North West Researcher Futures – A regional conference for research staff

Friday 3rd April 2009

Have you registered yet?

Want to know how to succeed in academia or want to explore the possibilities for a career outside academia?

This 1 day conference for research staff may provide some of the answers. Vitae are really excited about the prospect of holding the first ever regional conference for research staff which will be hosted at Lancaster University.

We have managed to attract some eminent professionals for our plenary session: Dr John Park (R&D Director of PepsiCo International), Dr Brian Iddon (MP for Bolton South East) and Prof Gráinne Conole (Professor of e-Learning, Institute of Educational Technology, The Open University) so this is your chance to quiz them on how they became so successful in their fields. We are also running some great workshops to help inform you about possible career paths and provide you with the opportunity to enhance your skills. The day will also allow you to network with the speakers, senior researchers and peers from across the region and beyond.
